Job summary

Standard Air & Lite in Pittsburgh is seeking an Inside Sales / Plan and Spec professional to drive commercial HVAC sales and provide technical support to contractors and corporate customers. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HVAC industry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under time constraints.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications, run equipment selections, and quote commercial, residential, hydronic, and specialty products, flagging any compliance questions.
• Consult vendors on pricing and compliance, and complete accurate equipment take-offs in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the Controls Manager, Product Managers, and other staff to bid as complete a project as possible.
• Enter equipment selections into our quoting software to generate quotes and reports, and track jobs being bid along with their bid dates.
• Answer customer calls for Sales Engineers when they're unavailable, on questions such as order status, bid activity, product information, and availability.
• Support Sales Engineers with order follow-up, Order Service and Parts coordination, submittals, worksheets, and forms.
• Support our sales team and their customers with commercial equipment quotes and orders.
