Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and work areas, ensuring high quality products and customer service while driving restaurant profitability. You will implement company policies and ensure compliance with laws and ethical practices.

Responsibilities include managing stations, monitoring product quality, maintaining safety and security, and supporting inventory and cash control. The role requires flexibility for long hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), scheduled or unscheduled, which will include nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Ability to successfully perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines, techniques and expectations for each station including, but not limited to, dough management, accuracy and proper portioning. Performs assigned work station duties such as making quality products, follows all product preparations procedures and maintains established product holding times.
• Contributes to achieving the Company’s product goal and meets the needs and expectations of customers, minimizes complaints, and follows TM handbook policies.
• Exemplifies core values, maintains a positive attitude, works well with others, and is adaptable to change.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage for restaurant and provides feedback to correct problems; maintains quality, service, and cost targets.
• Contributes to profit goals by using the FOCUS System, executes cash management duties, and assists in inventory management to minimize loss.
