Job summary

Papa Johns International is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and areas of the restaurant, ensuring high quality products and outstanding customer service to drive profitability. You will execute company policies and ensure compliance with laws and ethical practices.

You will oversee station duties, maintain product quality, manage shift coverage, and support inventory and cash-handling processes to achieve targets while delivering a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Successful and stable employment history.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
• Ability to perform the job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines and expectations for each station, including dough management and proper portioning.
• Contributes to achieving product goals and meets customer needs while following policies.
• Exemplifies core values and maintains a positive, adaptable attitude.
• Ensures adequate shift coverage and maintains quality, service, and cost controls.
• Contributes to profit goals by using the FOCUS System and assisting with inventory control.
