Job summary

Papa John's is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring we deliver high quality pizzas and great customer service while driving profitability.

You will enforce company policies, coordinate staff across stations, manage cash and inventory, and mentor team members to meet safety, quality and service standards. Availability for nights, weekends, and peak times is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform duties of all positions in the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shifts and ensure high quality products and service.
• Manage operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain product holding times and proper portioning.
• Contribute to profit goals by managing costs and inventory.
• Provide feedback and correct issues to keep standards.
• Ensure adequate shift coverage and customer satisfaction.
