Job summary

Papa John's in Florida is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise shifts and oversee work areas to ensure high quality products and outstanding customer service while driving restaurant profitability. You will help implement company policies, procedures, programs and systems.

The role requires adapting to changing business needs, maintaining safety and cleanliness, managing staffing levels, and contributing to cost control, inventory accuracy and timely service for every guest.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred.
• Previous restaurant shift lead experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (32+ hours generally required), including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform duties of all restaurant positions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to guidelines for each station including dough management and proper portioning.
• Makes quality products and follows product procedures and holding times.
• Contributes to achieving store goals and minimizes customer complaints.
• Maintains core values, positive attitude, and teamwork.
• Ensures shift coverage and feedback for problem areas.
• Manages cash and inventory to support profitability.
