Job summary

Maxime’s on Madison Avenue in New York City seeks a Pizza Chef to join our private members club, delivering Roman-style pizza under the guidance of our Head Chef. The kitchen features an electric oven and high-hydration, direct fermentation dough, demanding precision in dough, sauce, and toppings.

You’ll collaborate with an established culinary team, handle dough, toppings and sauce, and assist other sections as needed in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in fine dining, Michelin, or luxury hospitality.
• Strong culinary techniques with a passion for quality and precision.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Opened in March 2025 in the historic former Westbury Hotel on Madison Avenue, Maxime’s is a private members club home to four distinct kitchens, each offering a unique culinary experience.

We are looking for a Pizza Chef to join our team and work directly with our Head Chef to develop and execute Roman style pizza. Our kitchen operates an electric oven, and our dough is high Hydration, Direct fermentation dough. The candidate should be confident with pizza making and able to assist in other sections of the kitchen when necessary. The candidate will be working with the best produce that has been thoughtfully sourced.
