Job summary

Maxime's, a prestigious private members club on Madison Avenue, seeks a passionate Captain Assistant to support our Front of House team and deliver seamless, luxury dining experiences in New York City.

The role requires strong hospitality instincts, excellent communication, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will assist with service execution, guest requests, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards while upholding our renowned standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a fine dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or private club.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TIPS and NYC DOH certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to members and guests.
• Assist Captains with service execution and guest requests.
• Support accurate food and beverage order entry and delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, dietary restrictions, and allergens.
• Ensure smooth service flow and uphold company standards.
• Complete opening, closing, and side work duties.
