Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Bakery/Pizza Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in our New York market. You will train staff, prep pizza, focaccia and bakery items, and ensure stock and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of back of house production experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Good work ethic, communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs the bakery/pizza production staff.
• Assists the Head Chef and Sous Chef Managers with leading, training and developing team members.
• Prepares pizza, focaccia, and other bakery items according to specific recipes.
• Manage the stock of raw materials, place orders, and take care of the inventory of the department.
• Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards.
• Works towards mastering all shifts in pizza and bakery production.
• Assists Sales Associates if needed and engages with guests interested in learning about pizza, focaccia, and other bakery products.
• Ensures a clean and sanitary food production area.
• Performs cashier duties including processing returns, voids and exchanges when necessary.
• Documents, investigates, elevates and resolves employee and guest incidents.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
