Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Bread Production Manager to oversee our bread and bakery products at a Los Angeles location. You will lead a 15-20 person team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to authentic Italian recipes and standards.

You will collaborate with the GM of Retail and Corporate Head of Bakery on new recipes, inventory, and budget, while maintaining a safe, sanitary production area and guiding staff through holidays and shifting schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bread production experience.
• 2+ years managing a sales and production team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Degree from post-secondary culinary arts program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of breads and related bakery items.
• Lead a 15-20 person bakery team; hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with GM of Retail on daily bakery activities.
• Document and resolve employee and guest incidents.
• Communicate with Executive Chef and Corporate Head of Bakery on new recipes.
• Monitor inventory and manage ingredient orders and waste.
• Review sales and costs and ensure budget adherence.
• Maintain clean, sanitary production area per health standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
