K&L Gates is seeking a Pitch and Proposal Specialist to manage client-focused proposals, pitches, and competitive materials. You will partner with lawyers and client growth teams to deliver persuasive submissions that differentiate the firm and win new business.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and adherence to firm standards, with opportunities to influence pursuit strategy and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years proposals/business development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities for multiple opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and production of pitches, proposals, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and related materials.
• Collaborate with lawyers, client growth, and business services to tailor content.
• Lead proposal projects, set timelines, and coordinate contributors.
• Translate legal/business concepts into clear client-focused messaging.
• Develop tailored responses aligned with client needs and objectives.
• Draft and edit executive summaries, cover letters, firm overviews, and bios.
