Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking an Early to Mid-Career Piping Engineer to join the PHMS team at Arnold AFB, TN. The role focuses on engineering analysis, field support, and applying ASME/API codes to ensure integrity of piping systems and pressure vessels used in ground testing.

Qualified candidates have 2–7 years of post-degree experience, knowledge of piping codes, and strong communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering plus 2+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with process piping systems, piping integrity assessments, or piping codes.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance and access AEDC network.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pressure vessels and piping systems via field visits and report findings.
• Perform ASME code calculations, pressure rating evaluations, and stress analyses.
• Provide consultation on code compliance for pressurized systems with oversight.
• Assess mechanical integrity of piping, vessels, and components; develop as-built drawings.
• Create technical reports documenting analyses, results, and recommendations.
