Job summary

WhiteWater Midstream, LLC. is seeking a skilled field operations specialist to manage the operation and maintenance of pipeline, measurement, gas quality, compressors and related field systems in the Midland/Odessa area.

The role covers reciprocating compressors, ultrasonic meters, gas chromatographs, analyzers, SCADA, valves and related equipment. Responsibilities include engine operation, pigging, valve maintenance, facility upkeep, third-party coordination, inspections, and budget planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math skills.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and respond to callouts.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&ID diagrams and other diagrams.
• Knowledge of safe handling practices for flammable gases and high/low pressure systems.

Responsibilities

• Start, stop and operate engines to maintain parameters.
• Ensure cost-effective performance of engines and equipment.
• Conduct pipeline pigging and maintain valves, pipes and appurtenances.
• Coordinate maintenance of facilities including right-of-way and pipelines.
• Operate and repair equipment such as tractors, trucks, pumps, and compressors.
• Oversee third-party construction and inspections (one-call tickets).
• Perform regulatory compliance activities and inspections.
• Assist with budgeting, planning and forecasting for O&M costs.
• Develop O&M Procedures and site-specific procedures.
• Ensure work follows company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform gas measurement calibrations for ultrasonic meters and analyzers.
• Communicate status and activities to stakeholders and landowners.
• Occasional travel including nights and weekends; live within ~50 miles of Midland/Odessa.
• Perform duties of relief pipeline controller as needed.
