Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced environmental professional to lead midstream permitting projects across the US, including FERC-regulated pipelines and energy transition initiatives.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to coordinate with agencies on Threatened and Endangered Species, 404/10, CZMA, and Section 106. Flexible location with remote options, including Columbus, OH area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Environmental Science, or related field.
• 7+ years work experience in a similar position.
• 5+ years direct experience preparing and managing FERC permit applications.
• Experience coordinating on Threatened and Endangered Species, 404/10, CZMA, or Section 106.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition efforts nationwide.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination related to T&E, 404/10, CZMA, and Section 106.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support proposal development.
• Create technical documents and review submissions for regulatory processes.
• Support Health, Safety and Environment policies in project planning and execution.
• Collaborate with Environmental and Regulatory Specialists to ensure consistent project execution.
