Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking skilled pipefitters and welders to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems and related equipment. You will work from plans and specs to install pipes, supports, and fittings, test systems for leaks, and ensure compliance with safety and project rules.

Responsibilities include selecting materials, cutting and threading pipes, welding supports, and maintaining tools.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of piping or related field experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Select pipe types and materials per job specs.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid clashes.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipe.
• Install and test piping systems for leaks.
• Weld pipe supports to structural members.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
