Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks skilled pipefitters to lay out, fabricate, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment for steam, hot water, and process facilities.

Responsibilities include selecting materials, planning installations, testing for leaks, and mounting supports. Candidates should have 2–3 years' field experience, follow instructions, and work safely in a factory or job-site setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of field experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision and meet safety standards.
• Comfort working at heights and in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems and related equipment.
• Select materials and plan installation to avoid obstructions and coordinate with others.
• Test systems for leaks and ensure proper joining using various methods.
• Mount hangers, brackets and supports; weld and braze as required.
• Operate and maintain tools; observe safety and project rules.
