Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a skilled pipefitter to lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment for various industrial processes. You will inspect worksites, plan installations to avoid obstructions, and select appropriate pipes and fittings per specifications.

Responsibilities include cutting, threading, bending, joining pipes, and securing them to structures while testing for leaks and ensuring safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Follow instructions and guidelines with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems and related equipment.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions and plan installations accordingly.
• Select pipe types/sizes and materials per job specs.
• Cut, thread, bend and join pipe using appropriate tools and methods.
• Secure pipes with brackets, hangers and supports to structures.
• Test piping systems for leaks and verify with gauges.
• Operate and observe equipment and machinery for repairs.
• Assist with material handling and setup as needed.
