Job summary

Baytown TX-based Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is seeking a Pipe Foreman to lead pipefitting crews on a field project. The role requires strong pipefitting knowledge, crew leadership, and adherence to safety policies on a dynamic jobsite.

You will be responsible for directing crew activities, ensuring training, scheduling NDE, and maintaining safety standards while coordinating with a field superintendent to meet material and workflow needs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pipefitting, tools, procedures, and best practices
• Ability to lead small teams
• Travel is a must with extended periods away from home in remote areas at times
• Must be able to attend and/or lead employee safety meetings
• Must be able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week
• Must be able to meet all physical demands of the job

Responsibilities

• Lead pipefitting crews and assign duties to the crew, ensuring training and competency
• Enforce OPD and client safety policies and procedures on the jobsite
• Communicate material requirements to the OPD Superintendent and schedule NDE for pipe and vessel welding
• Provide records of work completed to the OPD Superintendent
• Identify and report potential safety and environmental concerns on site
• Coordinate with field supervision to maintain project safety and progress
