Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) in Baytown, TX, seeks a Pipe General Foreman to lead pipe fabrication and field installation on a major project. You will manage foremen and crews, ensure training, uphold strict safety standards, and coordinate with the OPD Superintendent for material needs and scheduling of NDE for pipe and vessel welding.

As a safety-minded leader, you will oversee duty assignments, verify material readiness, and ensure client specifications are met.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a general foreman.
• Gas plant construction experience.
• Experience leading teams of 40–50 people.
• Must be a safety role model and attend safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple foremen and crews on projects.
• Assign tasks to foremen and ensure proper training.
• Enforce OPD and client safety policies on site.
• Coordinate with area GF’s for planning and pipe installation.
• Write and submit RFIs and liaise with QC on weld changes and NDE requirements.
