Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Pipe General Foreman for the Baytown, TX area. You will lead foremen and crews, enforce safety policies, and coordinate with the OPD Superintendent on materials and NDE scheduling.

Responsibilities include planning pipe sequences, ensuring client specifications, and securing all required spools and materials for each package. Travel to remote sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a role model for safety.
• Experience leading teams of 40-50 people.
• Prior gas plant construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of pipefitting, tools, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead multiple foremen and crews and assign tasks.
• Ensure foremen are properly trained and safety policies are followed.
• Coordinate with OPD Superintendent for material needs and NDE scheduling.
• Plan and schedule pipe sequences per area foreman.
• Verify materials are onsite and pipe designed to spec.
• Order spools and materials for each package.
• Coordinate with other area GF's on planning and installation.
• Write and submit RFIs as requested by foremen.
• Communicate with QC on weld changes and NDE requirements.
