Koch Engineered Solutions, through Optimized Process Designs (OPD), seeks a Pipe General Foreman in Baytown, TX to lead pipefitting crews on petrochemical projects. You will schedule pipe sequences, verify client specs, and coordinate with foremen and the client while enforcing safety standards.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, material verification, and timely communication with the OPD superintendent. Travel to remote sites is required and 12-hour shifts may be necessary.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a general foreman.
• Previous experience in a gas plant construction environment.
• Previous experience leading teams of 40-50 people.
• Must be a role model for safety.
• Travel is required with extended periods away from home.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Able to attend and lead safety meetings.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, when needed.
• Must meet all physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple foremen and crews and assign tasks.
• Be a safety role model and enforce safety policies.
• Plan pipe sequences and ensure client specifications.
• Verify materials and order spools for packages.
• Coordinate with other area foremen and QC on weld changes.
• Provide records of work completed to the superintendent.
