Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Pipe Superintendent for Baytown, TX. Lead pipefitting teams, plan pipe sequences, and ensure safety and compliance with client specifications on high‑stakes projects.

Travel to remote sites, manage 40–50 crew members, enforce safety policies, and coordinate with QC and area foremen to maintain schedule and quality throughout the package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a general foreman or equivalent.
• Experience in gas plant construction environments.
• Experience leading teams of 40-50 people.
• Must be a safety role model and able to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple foremen and crews.
• Plan and schedule pipe sequences for each package.
• Ensure material Onsite and client specs.
• Coordinate with QC on weld changes and NDE requirements.
• Write and submit RFIs as requested by foremen.
