Job summary

Baytown, TX-based Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) is hiring a Pipe General Foreman to lead pipefitting crews on a gas/chemical project. The role requires supervising foremen, training crews, and enforcing safety policies on site.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a general foreman.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of pipefitting, tools, procedures, and best practices.
• Ability to lead multiple foremen and crews.
• Assign job tasks to each foreman and ensure that each foreman is properly trained.
• Being a safety role model for the team.
• Enforcing OPD and client specific safety policies and procedures on the jobsite.
• Coordinate with other area GF’s on planning and installing pipe.
• Write and submit RFI’s that are requested from the area foremen.
• Communicate with QC on weld changes and NDE requirements.
