Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, invites applications for a Pipe General Foreman at our Baytown, TX site. You will lead foremen and crews, plan pipe sequences, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate material needs and NDE with the OPD Superintendent.

Strong field leadership and gas-plant experience are essential. Travel to remote sites is required, and candidates must pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a general foreman.
• Experience leading teams of 40-50 people in gas plant construction.
• Must be able to travel and stay away for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple foremen and crews on pipefitting projects.
• Plan and schedule pipe sequences per area foreman.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed on site.
• Coordinate with OPD Superintendent for material needs and NDE.
• Verify pipe is designed to client specs and materials onsite.
• Write and submit RFIs as requested by area foremen.
• Communicate with QC on weld changes and NDE requirements.
