Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipe Crew Foreman in underground utility construction.
• Knowledge of water, sewer, and drainage installation techniques.
• Strong leadership to manage and motivate a crew.
• Commitment to safety and ability to enforce safety protocols.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working in varying weather and at multiple sites.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pipe crew, including operators, laborers, and skilled workers.
• Enforce safety procedures and regulatory requirements on site.
• Coordinate daily work activities to meet deadlines.
• Oversee underground utility installations for quality and adherence to specs.
• Manage equipment operation, maintenance, and issue reporting.
• Control materials inventory and ordering for projects.
• Train and mentor crew members to develop skills.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records including logs and project reports.
• Identify and address operational challenges during installations.
