Job summary

Phillips Infrastructure is seeking a Pipe Crew Foreman to lead a crew on underground utility installation projects in the Tampa area. You will supervise operators, laborers, and skilled workers, ensuring safe and efficient water, sewer, and drainage installations in line with project specifications.

You will enforce safety protocols, read blueprints, and coordinate daily activities to meet milestones. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success on varied job sites and weather

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipe Crew Foreman in underground utility construction.
• Deep knowledge of water, sewer, and drainage installation techniques.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities to motivate a crew.
• Commitment to safety and enforcement of protocols.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in varying weather and multiple sites.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pipe crew, including operators and laborers.
• Enforce safety procedures and regulatory compliance on-site.
• Coordinate and schedule daily work activities to meet milestones.
• Oversee installation of underground utility systems to meet specs.
• Manage equipment operation, maintenance, and issue reporting.
• Handle material inventory, ordering, tracking, and reporting.
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers and subcontractors.
• Document daily logs, safety records, and project reports.
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges during installation.
