Job summary

Phillips Infrastructure is seeking a Pipe Crew Foreman to lead our underground utility installation teams in Florida. You will supervise the pipe crew, ensuring safe, efficient installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems in line with project specs.

You will coordinate daily activities, enforce safety standards, and maintain quality while managing equipment, materials, and crew development on diverse job sites. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipe Crew Foreman in the underground utility construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with crew management.
• Commitment to safety and ability to enforce safety protocols.
• Ability to manage crew and coordinate field activities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pipe crew, including equipment operators, laborers, and skilled workers.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and guidelines and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and schedule daily work activities to meet project deadlines and milestones.
• Oversee installation of underground utility systems to meet design specs.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment used in installation and report issues.
• Manage inventory of materials and supplies required for the project.
• Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development and teamwork.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, equipment usage reports, and project documentation.
• Identify and address operational challenges that arise during underground utility installation.
