Job summary

Phillips Infrastructure is seeking a Pipe Crew Foreman to lead our underground utility installation teams in Sarasota, FL. You will manage the pipe crew to safely install water, sewer, and drainage systems, ensuring quality and compliance with project specs.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily work, enforcing safety, reading blueprints, and mentoring crew members while maintaining accurate documentation for project reports and logs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipe Crew Foreman in underground utility construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety and enforcing safety protocols.
• Willingness to work across various job sites and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the pipe crew, including operators, laborers, and skilled workers.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and schedule daily work to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Oversee installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems to spec.
• Manage equipment maintenance and report issues to maintenance.
• Manage material inventory, ordering, tracking and reporting.
• Train and mentor crew members to promote skill development.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records: daily logs, equipment usage, safety docs, and reports.
• Identify and address operational challenges during underground installations.
