Job summary

Rune seeks its first dedicated compute sales hire in San Francisco to close and structure multi-year GPU compute deals. You will own the customer journey from initial outreach to deployment and renewal, shaping how we price and package capacity for AI workloads.

You will build a pipeline across AI labs and startups, develop trusted relationships, and influence commercial terms, SLAs, and revenue recognition while collaborating with legal and finance.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in B2B sales, business development, or deal desk.
• Experience in GPU cloud, bare metal, HPC, or AI infrastructure.
• Track record closing multi-month or multi-year compute commitments.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, order forms, and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Own compute deals from first conversation through renewal and expansion.
• Build pipeline across AI labs, inference providers, neoclouds, and AI-native startups.
• Understand buyer workloads, GPU needs, cluster size, term, connectivity, and credit profile.
• Structure deals across reserved, committed-capacity, and on-demand models with pricing terms.
• Lead agreements and redlines with Rune counsel on GPU leases and node access.
• Negotiate uptime, service credits, termination rights, liability, and indemnification.
