Job summary

Rune is seeking an Account Executive to own compute deals from first conversation through renewal, helping price and structure capacity for AI workloads deployed at solar micro data centers.

You'll build pipeline across AI labs, inference providers, and startups, own terms from term to payment, and partner with finance and engineering to ensure on-time delivery and future renewals. You will also contribute to the commercial playbook as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in B2B sales or deal desk.
• 2+ years in GPU cloud, HPC, or AI infra.
• Track record closing multi-month/year commitments.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, order forms, and SLAs.
• Understanding reserved/committed-capacity pricing.
• Strong commercial and financial judgment.
• Technical fluency in GPU workloads and clusters.
• Deep relationships across AI labs and compute ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own compute deals from first convo to renewal.
• Build pipeline across AI labs, neoclouds, and startups.
• Know buyers' workloads, GPU needs, cluster size, term, connectivity, credit.
• Structure deals across reserved, committed-capacity, and on-demand models.
• Lead agreements and redlines with Rune's counsel (GPU leases, cluster agreements).
• Negotiate SLAs and key commercial terms: uptime, credits, termination, liability.
• Partner with finance to set deals up for booking and revenue recognition.
• Coordinate with engineering and site ops to align delivery with timelines.
• Serve as customer’s trusted commercial partner after close, guiding renewals.
