Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Clerical/Administrative professional to welcome patients and families and support the nursing unit with clerical tasks. You will handle calls, prepare Welcome Packets, and assist clinical teams, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Role requires 1–3 years of clerical or customer service experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy pediatric unit. Fluency in Spanish preferred and strong teamwork are desired traits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of clerical or customer service experience.
• Spanish language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient calls promptly, transfer calls, and resolve requests.
• Greet patients and families; provide administrative support to clinical teams.
• Provide Welcome Packet and orient guests to patient care area and room.
• Identify and assess guest needs; maintain nursing station organization.
• Ensure mobile computers are charged and functioning nightly.
• Maintain patient placement and nursing assignments in electronic systems.
