Job summary

Metro YMCAs is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate for the Pickleball Center in Northern Kentucky. You will greet members, verify memberships, manage court reservations, and support leagues and tournaments while delivering excellent service.

This part-time role requires strong communication, basic office software skills, and the ability to stay calm in busy moments. Evening and weekend availability is often required to help maintain a welcoming, safe facility for all.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service/recreation-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Pickleball rules and safety practices.
• CPR/First Aid certification required, or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests professionally and cordially as they enter and leave.
• Verify membership, record facility access, and manage indoor court reservations.
• Assist with check-ins, rosters, and court assignments for leagues or tournaments.
• Answer calls, provide facility information, and follow up when needed.
• Process payments and registrations in line with YMCA policies.
• Open/close procedures, inspect courts for safety, and report hazards.
