Job summary

Lowes Foods in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a friendly Pick & Prep team member to actively engage guests, prepare products and contribute to a sensory, engaging shopping experience that meets company standards.

You will demonstrate knife showmanship, operate the Pick & Prep area, ensure product quality, maintain sanitation and assist with stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and willingness to engage guests.
• Ability to lift 25 lb consistently and 50 lb occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations and knife skills.
• Strong communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work well with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, sampling and suggestive selling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and storytelling about products.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Perform stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Make PA announcements.
