Lowes Foods, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a Pick & Prep associate to engage guests through product preparation and sampling, while delivering superior guest service and storytelling about fresh, local, seasonal products. You will operate the Pick & Prep area, maintain quality, and ensure sanitation and safety to meet company standards.

The role involves knife skills demonstrations, working with scales and computer systems, and collaborating with team members to stock, prep, and merchandise.

Qualificações

• Ability to actively engage guests and have fun with guests.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations and knife skills.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship and general kitchen skills.
• Excellent communication, guest service and selling abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, bend and kneel for extended periods.
• Comfort with computers and scales for daily tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
• Provide superior guest service and storytelling about products (Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, Local).
• Demonstrate knife showmanship and services offered in Pick & Prep.
• Run the Pick & Prep area following merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per company standards.
• Perform product prep, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Deliver PA announcements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
