Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Pick & Prep team member to prepare product and provide engaging, sensory experiences for guests in a fast-paced department. You will demonstrate products, assist with sampling and storytelling about Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local offerings.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, operating the Pick & Prep area to standards, and assisting with receiving, stocking, and guest service.

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service, storytelling about products, highlighting Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal and Local attributes.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship to highlight Pick & Prep services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed to meet standards.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
