Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Pick & Prep Associate to engage guests through product preparation and sampling, while delivering superior guest service and storytelling about our Fresh, Healthy, Seasonal, and Local offerings. You will operate the Pick & Prep area, maintain product quality, and uphold Lowe's Foods standards with a focus on sanitation and safety.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to lift and move product, and flexibility to perform multiple tasks including light

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality required.
• Ability to actively engage guests and demonstrate guest service.
• Works well with others and contributes to a team.
• Able to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations and knife skills.
• Demonstrates effective communication and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Good physical stamina: bend, kneel, stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
• Provide superior guest service and storytelling about products.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship and highlight services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area per standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowe's Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Make PA announcements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
