Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a proactive Pick & Prep associate to engage guests through sample preparation and storytelling about fresh, healthy, seasonal, and local products. You will operate the Pick & Prep area, ensure product quality, and maintain sanitation while supporting merchandising standards.

Attention to detail, strong guest service, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently are required; occasional 50 lb lifts may be needed, with responsibilities including stocking and tasks

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and positive attitude.
• Ability to engage guests and provide excellent guest service.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and knife skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
• Provide superior guest service and storytelling about products.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship and prepare Pick & Prep items.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area to merchandising standards.
• Ensure product quality and sanitation within standards.
• Perform stocking, merchandising and guest service tasks as needed.
• Make PA announcements and support management as required.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned by management.
