Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to lead full-cycle physician recruitment, from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews, site visits, and onboarding.

You will develop recruitment strategies, create job descriptions and marketing materials, build relationships with residency programs and professional organizations, attend recruitment events, and manage candidate travel and communications to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of physicians, from sourcing and screening qualified candidates to coordinating interviews, site visits, and onboarding activities. Key duties include developing recruitment strategies, creating job descriptions and marketing materials, building relationships with residency programs and professional organizations, attending recruitment events, and proactively identifying candidates through databases and outreach efforts. The position also manages candidate tracking and communication, maintains detailed recruitment records, evaluates the effectiveness of advertising resources, monitors recruitment expenses, and coordinates all aspects of candidate travel, itineraries, and visits to ensure a positive recruitment experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, related field, or equivalent.
• Two to four years of recruiting experience; physician, healthcare, or agency recruiting experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. Word processing, Excel spreadsheets, e-mail, database management, and presentation software.
• Excellent communication skills, including negotiation skills; must be persistent and persuasive.
• Able to establish rapport and effective working relationships with physicians and clinic leaders.
• Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivated.
• Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents.
• Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks.
• Very strong customer service orientation, positive attitude, self-directed and change orientated.
