Job summary

The Queen's Health Systems in Hawaii is seeking a patient services professional to support the physician practice by performing administrative and related patient care functions. Qualifications

• Completion of program/degree in Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, EMT, LPN or RN; OR Nursing student with clinical fundamentals and pharmacology.
• Six months direct patient care or six months administrative medical office experience (patient access, admitting, registration, scheduling, insurance verification).
• Military training with at least one year of customer service or clerical experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and related patient care functions to support the physician practice as assigned.
• Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements and in accordance to established policies, procedures and regulations.
