Role Overview

As the Patient Service Representative, you will help ensure that Hawai'i Pacific Health patients and their families receive warm, friendly, and considerate assistance. You will act as a liaison between patients and professional staff in our Contact Center and assist with a variety of administrative tasks, including:

• Interviewing, registering, admitting, updating, and creating patients’ medical records

• Handling cash and collecting payments

We are looking for a sensitive and helpful individual with excellent communication and customer service skills, an ability to work effectively under minimal supervision, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Compensation

Pay Range: 24.83 – 26.14 USD per hour

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of clerical support in a healthcare setting or related experience
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• International Classification of Diseases and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Coding Certification
• Basic medical terminology knowledge
• Experience with EPIC
