Reid Health is seeking a Practice Supervisor to lead the physician practice operations, ensuring efficient services for patients, physicians and staff. You will implement goals, policies and systems for the assigned practice and enforce adherence to the established standards.

The role emphasizes compliance, staff development, and daily performance in scheduling, patient flow, and revenue processes, with a focus on quality and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education required: Associate degree or better in health admin or related field.
• Experience in health care practice supervision is preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for staff coordination.

• Focuses on patient satisfaction by identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines to prevent unauthorized disclosure of PHI.
• Understands Compliance and Regulatory issues regarding employed physician practices.
• Ability to learn and navigate network EMR.
• Manages staffing schedules and timekeeping with Kronos Scheduler and Timekeeper.
• Manages daily operations by monitoring schedule and patient flow, addressing issues as they arise.
• Directs hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules.
• Communicates office status to physicians, staff and Clinical Supervisor/Manager.
• Evaluates performances and recommends merit increases and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures job descriptions and payroll practices are implemented.
• Supervises financial reconciliation and reporting functions.
• Maximizes collections by ensuring timely filing of claims and monitoring reimbursements.
