Job summary

Ascension in Racine, WI is seeking a Full-Time leader for the Physician Support department. You will oversee recruitment, scheduling, payroll, development, and day-to-day site operations to ensure high-quality care and efficient patient flow.

You will collaborate with physicians and executives on long-term plans, manage budgets, monitoring billing processes, and coordinate with internal and external partners to support physician compensation and service expansion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
• Leadership experience is required.
• Experience leading healthcare clinic operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and executive leadership to develop long-term business plans and expand clinical services.
• Direct recruitment, scheduling, payroll, and professional development to foster a high-performing workplace.
• Oversee day-to-day site logistics, optimize patient flow, and resolve operational challenges.
• Manage site budgets, monitor billing and collections workflows, and support physician compensation planning.
• Serve as the primary liaison connecting site staff, physicians, health system administration, and external partners.

Education

What minimum requirements you'll need

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

• Bachelors in Healthcare Admin, Business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of healthcare clinic leadership operations.
