Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking obstetrics specialists for a Durant, OK assignment offering flexible scheduling and premium pay. You will join a busy Level 3 obstetrics unit with 20 beds, handling routine deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk cases on a call-only basis while collaborating with a skilled nursing team.

Our internal support includes streamlined credentialing, 24/7 recruiter and credentialing specialist access, tail coverage, paid housing and travel, and a referral bonus for 160 hours

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma license to practice medicine.
• ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications present.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics call coverage in Durant, OK.
• Deliver routine and surgical obstetric cases as needed.
• Collaborate with on-site RNs and office staff.

The Role:

• Location: Durant, OK
• Assignment duration: ASAP - Ongoing, Sporadic coverage dates needed
• Coverage Type: Call Only
• Trauma Level 3
• Patients Per Shift: 5
• Beds in Department: 20
• Cases: Routine delivery (vaginal required); C-section required; breech; multiple births; abruptions; VBACs preferred; repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations required; OB ultrasounds and amniocentesis preferred; office/minor and surgical gynecology preferred.
• Average Call Numbers per 24 Hours: 3 Phone Consults, 3 Patients Seen, 1 Admission
• Support staff: 7 RNs, 2 Office Staff
• EMR: Cerner & Athena
• Requirements: Active OK License, ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
