Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking a flexible Obstetrics and Gynecology clinician for Granbury, TX, with per diem weekend coverage. The role includes call and in-hospital procedures across obstetric care, including high- and low-risk pregnancies, with access to Athena/Medhost EMR.

Responsibilities

• Coverage: Obstetrics and Gynecology including low- and high-risk pregnancies.
• Interpret fetal heart rate and perform OB ultrasound Level I screening.
• Perform routine deliveries and C-sections when needed.
• Weekend per diem coverage from Friday noon to Monday 7:00 AM.
• Average call: 5-7 phone consults, 2-4 patients seen, 2-4 admissions.
• Credentialing timeframe: 30–45 days.

The Role:

• Location: Granbury, TX 76048
• Assignment duration: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Call Only
• Shift Type: Per diem weekend coverage; expect coverage starting at noon on Friday until 7:00 AM Monday for most weekends.
• Cases: Obstetrics and Gynecology coverage including low- and high-risk pregnancies (low risk required, high risk preferred), fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds Level I screening, amniocentesis, routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps), decision‑making for and performing C-sections, complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, and surgical gynecology (laparoscopic diagnostic/minor and operative/major procedures).
• Average Call #'s per 24hrs: 5-7 Phone consults, 2-4 Patients Seen, 2-4 Admissions
• EMR: Athena/Medhost
