Odyssey Locums is seeking a physician for a flexible, pay-competitive obstetrics/gynecology locum position in Palmer, Alaska. This opportunity offers top-tier hourly pay, paid housing and travel, and a dedicated recruiter to handle credentialing and support needs.

The role covers obstetrics and gynecology with trauma-level 3 facilities, delivering care across office and operative settings. Alaska license is required, and credentialing is expected to take about five days.

Qualifications

• Alaska medical license required.
• Credentialing completed rapidly; Cerner/Athena familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Obstetrics and Gynecology coverage; deliveries, C-sections, operative and office gynecology procedures.
• Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift; 5 phone consults, 5 patients seen, 2 admissions per 24h on average.
• Call coverage type: Call Only with trauma level 3.

• Schedule/Hours: TBD
• Cases: Obstetrics and Gynecology coverage; approximately 5 patient encounters per shift; deliveries, C-sections, operative and office gynecology procedures.
• 10 Beds in Department
• Average Call Numbers per 24hrs: 5 Phone Consults, 5 Patients Seen, 2 Admissions
• EMR: Cerner/Athena
• Physician must hold an Alaska medical license.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 5 days
