Odyssey Locums is seeking OB/GYN physicians for a Mt. Pleasant, MI assignment. The role features 24-hour shifts with on-call every 5th week, handling labor and delivery, ED coverage, and surgical needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with OB/GYN credentials.
• Experience in labor and delivery, ED coverage, and surgical care is ideal.
• Proficient with Cerner or equivalent EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN labor and delivery coverage.
• Support ED coverage and surgical consults.
• Handle clinic consults for emergent cases.
• Adhere to on-call requirements: 24 hours with 5th-week call cycle.

The Role:

• Location: Mt. Pleasant, MI
• Assignment duration: 9/25/2026 - 12/25/2026
• Shift Type: 24-hour. Regular Hours: Required.
• In House Call: Call coverage every 5th week of the month. 24 hours on call with 2 hours of gratis patient care required. Call back after 2 hours of patient care.
• Cases: Labor & Delivery; Emergency Department coverage; Surgical coverage including acute/urgent surgical needs; Clinic consults for emergent cases.
• Patients per day: Approximately 4 deliveries/day
• Support staff: 2 NPs
• Site Charting System: Cerner
