Odyssey Locums is seeking a highly skilled OB/GYN to cover a Call Only assignment in Wilson, NC. The role focuses on low and high-risk pregnancy care, NST/CST/FSE interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and deliveries (vaginal and C-section).

You’ll join a supportive team with two RNs and one MA, credentialing in about 15 days, and 24/7 recruiter support. The position offers premium hourly pay, paid housing and travel, tail malpractice coverage, and a referral bonus.

Formación

• Active NC medical license and board certification required.
• Credentialing typically completes in about 15 days.
• Experience with circumcisions is required.
• Ability to interpret FHR (NST/CST/FSE) and perform OB ultrasounds.
• Experience with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and gynecologic surgery.

Responsabilidades

• Provide OB/GYN care in a call-only, locum assignment.
• Manage admissions and patient consultations during sporadic shifts.
• Coordinate with 2 RNs and 1 MA to ensure seamless care.
• Support credentialing and maintain high patient care standards.

The Role:

• Location: Wilson, NC 27893
• Assignment duration: ASAP - Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Call Only
• Schedule: Sporadic Dates needed, will be added to the provider pool for ongoing shifts
• Typical Day is 3-5 patients seen, 5 phone consults, 4 admissions
• Facility PEDs Level: 2
• Beds in Department: 12
• Specialty skills required include: low risk and high risk pregnancy care, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II), amniocentesis, routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal and C-section), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations, and surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor).
• Must have current experience with circumcisions
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA
• Certification Requirements: NC License, Board Certified, Clean File, ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Credentialing Timeframe: 15 days
