Intermountain Health seeks an OB Hospitalist Physician to join the obstetric hospitalist program at Riverton Hospital, Riverton, UT. The role covers 7 24-hour shifts per month, providing obstetric care, surgical backup, and emergencies within a Level II NICU system with telehealth support 24/7.

Eligible for a $15,000 signing bonus and up to $20,000 relocation assistance, with a comprehensive benefits package and CME allowance to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school required.
• Residency in OBGYN with ACGME accreditation required.
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN expected.
• Utah medical license or ability to obtain one, DEA license acceptable.
• BLS certification is required.

About this role

As an OB Hospitalist Physician with Intermountain Health you will join our Obstetric Hospitalist program at Riverton Hospital located in Riverton, Utah. Our OB Hospitalists are key members of a Work Family that encompasses the Southridge Clinic Physicians and Midwives coming together to collaborate as a cohesive unit. We provide coverage for patients of our Southridge practice, surgical backup for the midwives, OB unassigned patients, and are first to bedside to obstetrical emergencies. We support our affiliate providers by attending precipitous deliveries or initiating care during emergencies while providers are en route. On a limited basis this position includes supporting a case in the clinic or an emergency for a Southridge GYN patient. Riverton Hospital is home to a 9-bed labor and delivery unit (growing to 11-bed next year), averaging 2,400 deliveries annually. We are a Level II NICU (about to advance to Level III NICU by summer) and have an MFM clinic on site. MFM & Neonatologist consult available via telehealth 24/7. Anesthesiologist on site 24/7. Full time, expectation of working 7 24-hour shifts per month. Eligible for a $15,000 signing bonus & up to $20,000 in relocation assistance.
