Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a PRN OB/GYN hospitalist to join a nationally recognized health system. You will work with a team to provide quality obstetric and gynecologic care during restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts at St Vincent Regional Hospital.

The role includes care in L&D and the ED, with in-house anesthesia 24/7 and telehealth MFM clinic access. Shifts are 12 hours, with pay rates of $2,010 per shift; clinic coverage pays $2,168 per 8 hours.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME accredited residency in OB/GYN.
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN.
• Active Montana medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Federal DEA Registration.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN hospitalist care on an as-needed basis during restricted shifts at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT.
• Care for patients in labor and delivery and the ED with obstetric or gynecologic needs.
• In-house anesthesia available 24/7.
• MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult.
• St Vincent delivers about 1,800 babies annually; Level III NICU; Baby-Friendly designation.
• Shifts are 12 hours; 24-hour shift stacking possible; compensation noted.

As a PRN physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• On an as-needed basis, you will provide care through restricted OB/GYN hospitalist shifts at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.
• You will provide care to patients in L&D and the ED that have obstetric or gynecology needs.

• St Vincent is a large regional referral center, thatwelcomes an average of1,800 deliveries annually in ouraward winningLabor & Delivery unit. With a level III NICU, we provide care to patients at alllevels of acuity&lengthsof gestation.We are a designated Baby-FriendlyHospital, rankingin the top 3% of hospitals for Obstetrics and top 1% for Women's Services by Women'sChoice Awards Best Hospitals 2025. Weareexcitedto berelocatingto anewly builthospitalfacility in 2029.
• OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts are12-hoursin length at a pay rate of$2,010.00. If desired, they can be stacked and taken in 24-hour increments.
• Your malpractice coverage will be paid 100% by Intermountain Health.
• If youcovera shift in clinic, it will be paid at a rate of $2,168.00per 8 hours.

Whatyou'llbring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• ACGME accredited residency training in OBGYN
• Board certification or eligibility in OBGYN
• Active, unobstructedMontanamedical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Federal DEA Registration
• BLS certification
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
