Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Board-C Certified OB/GYN to join our Alaska-based team in Ketchikan. The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including rounding and admissions, with a typical clinic load of about 10 patients per day and 0-2 labor/delivery cases.

Credentialing takes 60–90 days; no prior license is required at interview but must move quickly on licensing. Flexible scheduling and on-call coverage are expected; facility has 25 beds with 5 L&D; a

• Credentialing process anticipated at 60–90 days; prepare 24 months of case logs.

Description:This position is open due to a gap in coverage.Responsibilities include rounding and admissions in both clinic and hospital settings.The average patient load is 10 patients per day in clinic and 0-2 for labor and delivery.Procedures will encompass a full scope of general Client.There are no expectations for scheduled surgeries unless assistance is needed for another provider.The facility has 25 beds, including 5 dedicated to labor and delivery.There will always be a second Client on call for support.All candidates must prepare for a standard credentialing process that takes approximately 60-90 days.Candidates should provide a complete case log for 24 months.Patient demographics include adults, some pediatrics, and geriatrics.The facility expects flexibility in scheduling and call management.The candidate will not need an existing license but must be proactive in the application process.
