Description:We are seeking locum Client coverage for on-call support.The schedule consists of 6-7 shifts a month, with potential for more.The shift is from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. with beeper call.Coverage includes both in-house and beeper/phone call responsibilities.The practice setting is inpatient/hospital-based.The patient population is adults, with a focus on 100% inpatient care.Responsibilities include routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps decision-making for C-sections, and handling complicated deliveries such as breech and multiple births.VBAC management and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations will also be required.GYN call coverage is necessary.Experience with EMR/documentation using EPIC is preferred.Onsite labs and ultrasound equipment are available.The hospital has low-volume C-section cases, with midwives taking call and managing their own patients.The delivery volume is approximately 700-800 total deliveries annually, with around 140-190 labor and delivery triage visits per month.Credentialing is estimated to take 90 days, but can be expedited based on need.Approved travel reimbursements include airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at the IRS rate.This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.Candidates must meet the requirements and be available for the stated coverage dates.
